We know how hard it can be to get your kids to do something other than watching Paw Patrol or pulling the heads off L.O.L. dolls. To help you out, we've got 4 easy steps to help keep Sundays holy and celebrate church at home the best you can.
We are so grateful to be part of your family, and we are committed to helping you and your kids stay connected to your church. If we can help in any way, DM us on Facebook or Instagram. We are live streaming Mass every weekend to Facebook and YouTube. You can also join us in-person as we safely return to in-person Masses!Praying with your kids can be a bit awkward. After all, sometimes our kids can be unpredictable and a bit crazy (am I right?)... but seeing their parents pray is a great way for them to understand the important of prayer. Before you move to the video, pray together with a simple prayer like:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name;
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Here are some questions to get the conversation started:
We are so happy you took time for faith this Sunday. Now, print out these sheets, and hopefully enjoy some quiet time as your kids colour (one can hope!).
If you enjoyed these resources, or if we can do anything to help your family, please send us a message on Facebook or Instagram. We are praying for your family.
Hey! Did you know, when there isn't a pandemic going on, we've got Sunday morning kids programs from age 1 to Grade 7.
Taking kids to church is hard, so drop them off before Mass and our amazing team will take care of them. Just pick them after please.
